Anyone knowe of a source for this info? There is none for my CI van, 1987 vintage, so how do you members work out all the loading legalities without an MTPLM?
Apparently, if you are unaware of it, you are breaking the law, and potentuially hurting all the kittens in the world along with Nuns and Brothers of the cloth. Tongue firmly in cheek there.
It is a serious consideration and I'd be VERY interested to know how classic/oldskool/retro caravans are made to comply with 2011 legislation.

Back in 2007 Mrs Goose posted that she had a CI Cosmos Voyager maybe if you email the web master he may put you in touch with her to see if she still has it and has the technical data.
Wherever did you find that info Murano, I've been searching to no avail? Any idea of the max noseweight and tyre pressures as Jim will need that as well???
Phil

Lol I'm off sick so have time on my hands lol, plus if I tell you I will have to kill you lol lol, no I just did a detailed search and found your van. I tried to link it to you but it was such an old topic that it wouldn't link.
I think you should get the tablecloth and the chairs ;D
If I find out the noseweight ect I want those chairs!!! Lol
Shall do another search, I may be gone a long time!!!
Donna :)
Some info
it cost £5985 when new which was quite expensive at the time so it was top of the range and hand standard items of RM270 fridge, heater, oven, double glazing, hot water & shower from a crystal water pump and mains electrics with Zig CF 2000 charger. It was 19'10" overall, 14;9" internal, quite wide at 7'5", unladen weight 840kg, gross weight 1060kg. Yours will be a 4/5 berth (84-87) while in 1984 and 1985 they did a 2 berth version.
CI Sprite? I thought it was a Cosmos Voyager.. Be grand if it turned out the same van was made under a different name as there would be more chance of finding parts for it.

Still can't find tyre stuff yet
WOW! Thanks for the info, that is fantastic. I'll be getting the van on Saturday, and he has ALL the paperwork from new with it. Cannot wait to sit down in the caravan with a beer, parked on my driveway, reading all about it.
If the chairs are in with the deal, they are yours!

I have never, ever, ever, seen my wife SO excited. She was literally leaping around the house shouting "WOW, so excited" "I cannot wait", "WOW". Brought a tear to my eye it did. Especially sweet when I hit the BIN button when she was out of the room and then pretended the van had been sold just aminute or so earlier. She wanted to know who had the cheek to buy "our" caravan! Then I scrolled down and she saw it was me that had won the auction.
Priceless!
