An awning made by NR Awnings rather than by some other manufacturer, such as Dorema, Bradcot, and numerous others....
... and not a silly question at all if you've not heard of them - like me until I got one included with the second caravan I bought.... The first van I had for 20 years, and was never really bothered about having an awning...

One of the last companies to make their awnings in Britain- first class for mid range awnings.They made me a lovely porch to fit my little Elddis Wisp 300, as i just could'nt find one to fit.  I have a full awning made by them as well, only make I have ever bought. It is so difficult to buy such a small awning- you could probaby sell it ten times over!!

When I was looking in 2008, finding a used one proved impossible at that time and most of the Awning suppliers I contacted, didn't have them in any make. Hence good old NR!

Then  I  wanted a porch, again NR came up with the goods! Your10 footer will I am sure quickly find a new home.

My Dawnstar is 12ft and I have an NR awning, it is great. Bought on ebay. It only takes about 20 minutes to set up, that includes pegging down.

My parents had an NR Pullman for their caravan for years. They decided to upgrade to a new NR Pullman this year.
As me and the OH put it up on their seasonal pitch every year I must say the quality is not what it used to be.
