Hopefully picking our first caravan up on Saturday we have tented for some yrs now, but sold our camping stuff to get a caravan. It's a 1991 elddis hurricane xl 2 berth buying it off a fellow member called Cambridgekockne, its been stood since November and needs a clean inside and out.
We can't wait just hoping its not windy cos it will be first time towing a caravan

Hi Craig,

We also use to do the camping thing too.  But we are now upgrading and will also be collecting our newer model this Saturday.  I am sure you will love the caravanning experience.  It might be worth you joining the Caravan Club too - they have some excellent sites!

With regard to towing in the wind...Just drive slightly slower and you will be fine.

Also, our first caravan was an Elddis - which was fab!

Hi,we are picking ours up tonight,an 11 year old sterling europa. We too have sold our tent etc due to my back problems and cant wait to try out the caravan.
