I have one of those levelling devices where you wind a handle and it levels the caravan, this was great on our last van, but now have moved to a twin axle, can it be used on one wheel???????????/

------------- Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't.
I have a twin and i dont think you can use that as the axles are seperate,i use a plank of wood just long enough to get both wheels up on,and it fits in the locker when on the move..
Twin axles have independent suspension to each wheel so when you raise the one wheel the other will remain and drop as you lift the wheel. Due to this reason you either need two levellers or as Jeff suggested, use a different method to level the caravan which I would tend to agree with. The reason why I would use an alternative method by using ramps instead is because when the weight of the caravan presses both clamps into the ground it will put more strain on the two support legs which is best avoided.
Like Jeff, i use planks of wood 2 at app 1 inch thick, only ever had to use one.
always tried to pick a level pitch, used to carry all kinds of leveling gear, dumped them for two short planks
