You do get a bit more bouncing about in the back of the car when towing. Mine have never complained of feeling ill, but do say it's a more bumpy ride when we have the caravan on the back. Did you tow the caravan there or was it just the few yards from the yard to the field?
Could well be that he's as excited as you... or a bit nervous. Either way, I am sure a good sleep and waking up in the caravan will make him feel much better in the morning.
