hija,
we bought an elddis avante 505 with a double bed and single bunk over it. I dont know if it was the age of the 'van-2001 or if the bunk just wasnt as sturdy asit used to be but we didnt trust it to hold anyone over about 8 stone, our son got on and it seemed to bow in the middle. The plan was to sleep our baby girl and older daughter underneath and our son on the bunk but we just didnt dare do it! I kept thinking it would collapse!
have now swapped the van for a fixed bunk one, much better!
