Sounds like a duff battery. Fully charged, it should read 12.7 on a volt meter, and should stay that reading for 24 hours. If it doesn't invest in a new battery.Depending how many items you are using depends on what size amp battery you need for a weekend the bigger the better A good quality 110 ahb is costly, as is a 50/60wat solar panel.2 weeks away without ehu will be a problem without any assistance to top up your battery.Read all you can on this subject as there are many routes you can take to suit your predaments.solar panels, in car chargers to a second battery is the way I found to my advantage. 2 weeks away for me is touring and I get back home with 2 fully charged batteries which suits me fine. Please stay away from a genny for a weekend away most rally organisers don't let you use them for just 2 nights unless on emergencies like wheelchair battery charging.etc

I prefer rallying these days. No EHU has always been a problem for me, however the advances in off grid tech has helped us caravan enthusiasts no end. I have a 90W panel will roof mounted rails. I use it for lighting and for keeping my beers cool in the summer. I live in Northamptonshire and found a specialist local company called Marlec www.marlec.co.uk who have a wealth of expertise and answered some of my more technical questions! Hope this helps
