The quick-boil domestic kettles are the ones to avoid, as they use a lot of electric to boil quickly.
My little travel kettle (Lloytron) takes approx 3-4 mins to boil a full kettle. The gas kettle on the hob takes a few minutes longer.
At first it seem you're waiting forever for the kettle to boil, but after a while, it just seems normal.. You get used to waiting a bit longer than at home very quickly. And don't watch it, it will only take even longer!!LOL!
Hi Lynda. It's the sunncamp swift porch. I am alone so need something very easy to put up. You couldn't get any easier than this. Ok its cheap ( I paid £70) but so far I have found it totally watertight and has stood up to some quite strong winds in Keswick. All in all delighted with it.
we bought a domestic kettle from Asda the other day as we were sick of waiting for the gas! It was under 2000w so would work on a 10amp ehu, so long as we turned off the fridge and didn't use the microwave!
