please help my friend is looking for a van . 4 birth but she has a golf diesel 1.9l. she has seen bailey ranger 1100 unladened, . she has seen an end bathroom and an end sofa/ bunk affair. but weight is an issue, which makes are commonly light. we looking about £3000-£4000 to spend------------- Oh am loving the tin tent after campaining against it..........I was wrong.

it a 1.9 d 2000 I just ttrying to find the kerb weight . I reckon it 1300 so 85% will be 1105 is that right. When I bought our van I found a site that worked it out for you but cant find it now

85% is of the laden weight, not the unladen weight so you need to use that figure.

She needs to check which model she has, but working on 1300 kg she needs to be looking at caravans with a MTPLM/laden weight of 1105kg, not the unladen weight.

Have a look here I like the site as you can put in the maximum MTPLM, I've put Lincoln as the search area and 4 berth with a maximum MTPLM of 1199kg. Brings up 41 caravans, so at least it's an idea of what caravans to look at.

Freedom caravans of Staffod will give you some ideas as well. A second user one shouldn't cost more than you can afford.
Or you could go for a two berth with awning/inner tent?-------------

Tell them to have a look at the lunar zenith 4 miro of 957kg mass 1105kg four berth light airy , really good vans we had one and it was great.
