My fridge switch (a fused spur) is located in an area where it is easily knocked, which we did in our first week away. Luckly we spotted it before the fridge got too warm. My old van never had a switch, just had to use the switch on the fridge.

I'm thinking of replacing the switch with an unswiched spur (with neon). Does anyone know of a reason why this shouldn't be done (wiring regs, PIR etc)?
