Am I right in thinking that our caravan's Al ko hitch thing with its stabiliser is a different thing altogether to an "AL-KO ATC Trailer Control (approved)" or are they one and the same thing?

I believe you do get discount for ATC - we do anyway - but you won't get a discount for standard stabiliser hitch.

It's the online insurance form for the C&CC that I was trying to complete - it had two tick boxes - one asked about the ATC (which I now am sure we don't have!) then the other simply said Stabiliser (which I assumed we do have, as we don't need a separate stabiliser as we have the Al Ko hitch stabiliser)...

Sorry - that's not the best clarification in the world but now it's morning I guess I can give them a call and clarify it with them directly

That's a good buy at £450. A decent stabiliser would set you back more than half of that much and ATC actually does what it says on the tin.
