We've decided to buy one of these and have found them for £249 at Norwich Camping. Has anyone seen them for less?
I assume this is the Norwich Camping price match? Doubt if you'll get it for cheaper, but someone might come up with a price. I can't find anything after a quick look. Excellent choice of lightweight, Savanne.
Us at Conkers - the Royal Wedding/ May Day Weekend. Best of luck with a lower price.
thanks David, Norwich camping wont let me buy it without adding either the tie down kit or the back pole kit . Do we need either of these? It dosent look like it has the clips some of the new awnings have to fasten the tie down straps too so I'm presuming its one of the older over the top straps?
We're hopefully going to get it in the green to match our chairs . Thinking we can use this awning for UK and the Dorema Panorama Canopy for France that we got for a bargain £101 on ebay recently. Hoping the Fiesta will be big enough to use for up to a week here in the UK, dont want to buy a full awning.

Tie down kit???? Never heard of a specific one for the Fiesta - unless it's some general thing. Back poles might be useful, but personally I'm not a fan - just me though. Our awning sometimes comes across one window and I don't like putting a pole against it, even though it's padded.
I can see the options on their website. I wonder if it might be worth ringing them to ask about the tie down kit? Is it one that can be used on any awning? Could you use it on the canopy to make it more stable? Can they offer a deal without either of the two add ons? I know many like the back poles, but £19.99 seems a bit steep to me - I think I paid £12.99 for mine - could be wrong as it's been some time.
The other way of looking at it is the next best price I could find when I looked was about £269, so even if you bought it with the poles, it would only be the same as the next highest price, and you would get the poles thrown in, as it were.
The other thing to look at is postage cost. I wonder how much Norwich charge and compare that with what the next best price charge.
postage is free David. Think I'll ring them as I dont want the poles or the tie down kit. I've just been looking at the Rally Pro 390 and 260 now as well, theres just too much choice isnt there. I've not seen a Fiesta in the flesh but have a 390 onsite and was impressed with it.

I've had another thought Savanne. Outdoor Megastore have it on for £269. They offer a price match too. They might not notice the compulsory add on if you quote the Norwich price - and it's free delivery for anything over £100. Worth a try??
Another thought, is if you ring Norwich and they are just after selling someting else, is there anything else you want - you could say you'd buy that instead?? There's got to be a deal to be done!!
I spotted them at that price at Outdoor Megastore (I could use Quidco for 10% cashback) making it £243 so no price match needed but they havent got it in green. Theres no rush for one, we're actually off to Corfu on Monday (minus the kids ) for a week, got loads to do but as usual its not getting done as I'm online looking at stuff for the caravan
How long does it take to put up the Fiesta and OH asks how many poles has it got?

The Rally Pro has many fans and with me it could be a case of I know what I like and I like what I know. The Rally looks like more poles to me, and the front panels role up. With the Fiesta the front and sides zip out. We pack ours with all panels zipped out - it means there's not as much material to deal with when putting it up and easier to dry out at home if wet. I don't know for sure, but it looks like you could put up the Fiesta using less pegs.

The easy answer first. It has got basically 4 poles. The strong front bit is basically one pole that pulls apart and is held together by springs. It's a tiny bit awkward to pick up because you have curved bits and straight bits which eventually spring together. We just feed a bit through the sleeve, join the next bit on, feed the next bit through, join the next bit and so on, feed it through and so on. The roof poles are the telescopic sort and there are three: one for the middle, and one either side. Each one fits in one of the substantial 'quick lock type pads' againt the van and comes across the roof out from the van, this end fitting to the front large pole. It's a very substantial pole - solid.
How long to put up. Well it depends on the individual and how hard the ground it, whether you leave the panels in or have to zip them back in when you put it up. For us, I would say about 20 min. Half an hour if really relaxed about it.
We have the fiesta 270 which is just 1' narrower than the 350. It takes us 15 min to put up and we are relative novices.(thats with the side panels - the bedroom annexes - which we have 2 then it takes a little longer obviously)
Its ever so easy.
We bought ours second hand with the back poles included and we find that the back poles help to seal off the draught within the awning. They may not seem that they do much but they help keep the bumpers in place in windier weather.

I know I've said it before, but I feel strongly that the Kampa Fiesta is by far the best lightweight porch type we have had, by far.

How does this compare to the Rally please ? (pros/cons )
Can only really say what I did on the 9th post down. Not sure if the poles are quite as good on the Rally. I wonder if the Rally has some of those flimsy thin fibre poles? Door on the Fiesta is on the front rather than the side on the Rally. If you get the largest Rally and the largest Fiesta, the Rally is slightly larger. Can't see my othr post at the moment, but much more zips out on the Fiesta. I suspect the Rally is slighhtly more complex to put up.
The good thing is that they are both Kampa. In my experience, for what they are, that means they don't skimp on quality.
