No fan in ours !  No fan no chemicals in the tank,  no smell either  . 

Ours is a poo-free zone though.

Just bog-standard Ecover toilet cleaner to clean the bowl when needed, and the seat etc get a spray/wipe with Dettol anti-bacterial spray.   

We went to a show and have just seen the fan - it looks and sounds good, but we are unsure about drilling our caravan!

We were told that it removes smells and that’s all most of the toilet chemicals do, apparently you don’t get a build up of methane that’s a myth, but you can get gas build up with chemical additives !!!!

Then we found a new toilet additive that is biological, I think called blue green – need to find out more.
