Hi Just fitted a new Domestic RM 4210 into my 1996 Compass.
According to Electrolux this model is a straight change over for my old RM4206.
Hmmm!, --- why did I believe that, anyway I trimmed off a bit here and there and eventually it went in as snug as a bug.
Gas and 230V are fine, but can anyone tell me why there is no juice from the 12V supply.
The manual says there is a 15amp fuse somewhere in the line but does not give the location
The aux fuses on the Zig pannel are all 10amp and look fine, maybe you know of a switch hiding in a cupboard somewhere.
Appreciate your help.
Cheers Logan1

The fridge should only work on 12volts when your towing , and only if you the have the grey 12s plug and socket on your caravan and car .

My Coachman has fuses all over the place (Made when Coachman was also part of the Explorer group.) There are a load of fuses in and around the charger unit and a few under the off side front seats, right at the front. I think there are some under the fixed bed at the back and one or two in the cupboard between the fridge and the cooker too. Goodness knows what they are all for.

My last van was a 2005 Coachman, beautiful van, the only reason I sold it was because we didn't use it one year and I thought its just sitting there on my drive waiting for vandals to have a go at it, ahh the times we live in. I thought that was it, no more caravaning for us, but a month later I bought this old Compass, in very good shape but only half the size of the Coachman. The only thing I really miss is that wonderful rear bathroom, can't get used to the shoe box they call a bathroom we have now, need to be a ruddy contotionist.
