Off to Cornwall next week and need to find Caravan friendly service on the A303, somewhere between A34 and Exeter. From memory of last using this route most of them are not that easy to park in?
Cheers
Cartgate Services It's where the A3088 joins the A303 out of Yeovil Been a few years since I was down that way but looking on on Google Earth they don't look any different

------------- Nothing nada zilch no camping this year boohoo
Cheers all, it will be okay, we haven't got a dog!
However its about 2 and half hours from home and er indoors might not last that long. Any ideas for A35 to A30 instead? Sorry to be a pain but in 7 years of vanning have never been down that way with it.
Seems going north no problems, as soon as you go West Country its limited.
Little Chef at Popham , large car park . Trucks fill up here . Little Chef at Penton Mewsey , Andover . The Amesbury Archer service area just before Amesbury turn off , takes trucks and coaches .West Knoyle Rest area , food and toilets just after A350 junction , trucks get in here but lots of cars use it too . . Morrisons , Wincanton , just off A303 . Sparkford Services , Yeovil .
Cartgate , other side of Yeovil . Then South Petherton . A Little Chef type place just before Honiton on your left .
Easy going to Junction 30 M5 services then . You should get through without too much crossing of legs .
Damn , thought I was infallible on that route , used to drive a bulk aggregate tipper all around the area and lived locally in Sherborne . Podimore was just a blur , my boss was always pushing so hard to do another drop I never stopped between Shepton Mallet and Taunton . Now I live in Devon I use the route for trips to the area in my caravan or up as far as Slough via the M3 so it is still reasonably familiar .
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
