Wondering if someone can help. 2 years ago I bought a Harrington awning from Discover Leisure. The awning is perfect but came with steel poles which are quite heavy. I have been looking at getting lighter poles due to a recent knee problem. Can anyone tell me where I can get carbon fibre poles for an harrington awning or whether there is another frame that would match my awning.

I have been wondering this, whether you can get a complete 'frame' for an awning canvas. In our case it's an Isabella sun canopy that there are no poles for at all.

Have you tried Harringtons themselves or the supplier that you bought your awning from? I guess the fact nobody has replied suggesst finding out from, in your case, Harringtons or a dealer. Unfortunately, previous requests i've  made to  manufacfturers/dealers have not been very successful.

Good luck with your search, let us know how you've got on please.

I did contact discover leisure about lighter poles but they wanted nearly £200 for a new set. I have searched the internet about Harrington awnings but can't find anything about the manufacturer. I did find one post that said they think the frame is made by Isabella. There are a lot of awnings that look the same as the Harington and just wondering if their frame would fit.
