Well we have got our old girl up for sale and are looking to upgrade to a 5 berth. We have been to look at a Bailey Ranger 500/5 2000 today which we thought was fab. Has motor mover fitted which is a big plus for me learning to tow.

We have 2 small children and hoping to add another addition next year (maybe) so the layout we with double at the front and 2 small singles or double at the rear with bunk above seems like a good idea.

We loved the space and layout, has anyone got one of these? Is it a decent van?

Are Baileys a good quality van?

We are just upgrading from what sounds like the same layout, although ours is an Elddis.  We loved this little van (still do) but when our 3rd LO came along, we simply didn't fit anymore, despite the double bed at the rear.  We found that we couldn't put 2 in the bed, as one would invariably wake up the other.

Bailey do have a good reputation and my Dad had 2 and never had any problems with them.  my advice would just be to think hard about the layout and whether it will work if and when you have another one.

You might be better to look at 6 berths.

Whatever you go with, have fun - the kids will love the freedom
