Would you like to edit again Bill for old times sake.
Lol bloody hard work jeff on a iPhone & no specs on, how ya doing? Am working on the new house at the mo, that's why I haven't been on the pc, hope to move nextweek, then stright down to the van for a nice rest, nathen, made it. Didn't edit. Lol
A bit of a tardy update - apologies. Well we took said leaky awning, along with photo's of the puddles on the table and the wet carpet, back to our dealer who was extremely helpful. They sent the awning back to Isabella along with our photo's. Some two weeks later the dealer let us know that Isabella had returned the awning saying that there was no problem with it!!! The dealer then said that they were happy to replace the awning with a brand new one despite Isabella's findings. On going to pick up the replacement awning our dealer, once again extremely helpful, said Isabella thought the puddles in our photo's looked like we had 'sprayed it'!!! Why on earth would we do that!
Anyway, all's well that ends well and I really cannot praise our dealers enough - extremely professional and customer focussed. Well done Highbridge Caravans :-)

Under the sale of goods actthe item is not fit for the purpose intended. Speak to the dealer again stating you are unhappy with the awning due to leaks etc and you are giving them the opportunity to put the matter right. If they are still saying no, you can say you will be seeking professional advice with consumer and trading standards. be very calm and write down beforehand what you want to say.
