Has anyone added lashing points to the floor of their van. I was thinking of adding them to secure the bikes to whilst on the continent. Something like these that I can use bungey straps with.

Hi

My Swift had them as standard, as I have a 'garage area' where the bottom bunk lifts up. These bolt all the way through the floor with some hefty washers on the underside. They are of a single bolt design (if you can picture this), they are a good idea as we bought some straps from towsure, and the bikes don't move at all in transit.

Hi Michael can you explain please with some pics please

no sorry no pic's i use a long quarter inch steel rope lock to the rear leg and a motorbike rope lock hold the three together.

Sorry i thought you meant whilst travelling and not locking the bikes on site.
