I had a motor mover fitted last summer.
I went for the Royal Titan as my drive is on a incline.
My caravan is a 2003 Swift Charisma 540.
The van is fitted with a 110ah leisure battery which seems in good order.
Last summer/winter everything went swimmingly.
I took the battery out of the van over winter and topped up the water levels and gave it a trickle charge every so often.
Fitted back in van and have used it for the last 4 trips.
Came home on Monday from a weekend away with a full charge on the battery.
Using the motor mover i got the van half way up the drive when it stopped.
I checked the amps with a multi meter. i had about 11amps stationary then dropped to 7 amps with the mover on.
I have charged the battery and checked it is up to 12.4 amps. i have been playing around moving the van on the drive, as soon as it needs to go up the slope it drops to 7 or 8 amps and stops.
HAS THE BATTERY HAD IT???
OR
HAS THE MOVER KILLED MY BATTERY???

I presume that you are talking of volts and not amps. Before you condem the battery get someone to charge and test it properly.
No the mover has not killed your battery, it was either not fully charged or it's ready for the bin.

How old is the battery, if it's the same age as your van it has lasted very well. I replaced mine earlier this year after 4 years use as it was just not holding charge anymore!------------- Al

check hand set as the battery in these can go all at once.if you have a lead try this first if it works then the hand set is at fault. without a full charge of of 12.7 volts the battery cannot cope with a mover.check charger is charging at 13.5 volts when on EHU. well done, not a cheap repair but cheaper and better than a mover fault. ------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
