We've just had our first weekend in our new Bailey Orion. Everything went well apart from feeding the awning beading into the channel. It took about 3 hours! When we got home we fed the skirt through with no trouble so it seems that its the weight of the awning that is dragging it down and stopping it from feeding through. Someone on site (when we were taking it down) suggested washing up liquid. We've also heard that people use silicon spray along the channel but I think its going to take more than that. Does anyone else have this problem? Bailey suggested that there could be mastic left in the channel but there doesn't seem to be any. Hellllpppp......

Get some of this.

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/redirect.asp?redir=http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/product-search/text/awning+lube

and one of these

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/redirect.asp?redir=http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/none-awning-brush-camping-accessories-p132190

and brush the awning channel through. You will then know that the channel is clear with a small amount of lube ready for the awning.

If it still sticks check the awning bead itself for defects.
