Two things put me off going in Gordano with the Caravan, firstly there's a lot of speed bumps to go over & I don't like that with the van in tow. Second, I don't like using services where I have to go off on a junction to get in them, there's plenty with direct access off the carriageway & back on again.

Only ever stopped over at an M5 services once.  Noisy lorries, with fridge units running, and periodic visit of 'the Controller', shouting to drivers over the noise of the fridge units.  Pay for that? - they should have paid us!!!

I've never seen the parking attendant in a sevice area in the small hours Bertie much less heard anyone shouting at drivers about the fridge units running. They pay good oney on a regular basis to park up overnight & due to the nature of their load the fridge has to maintain temperature.

Sorry to cause a misunderstanding, BB.  I meant 'shouting to be heard above the noise of the fridge unit'.
