 Hi all,

Im thinking of buying this fridge to use during the summer whilst on EHU.

http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-1428744-10294381?url=http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9249240/Trail/searchtext%3EMINI+FRIDGE.htm

regardless of the discusting decal markings i think it will be more usefull than a 12v/230 coolbox.

Has anyone any ideas experience of using one of these? pros/cons?

Its a steal at the moment as its half price.

thanks

Hi Spike,

We have got a husky fridge and it works a treat, wouldn't go without it.

Buy it and you will wonder how the hell you managed.

Only con is the size, being bulky takes up a bit of boot/trailer space.

Hope this helps.

Cheers Claire,

My Mondeo Estate will eat one for breakfast so i think ill get one, just need some black spray paint for over the top of the red rubbish on it.

Does using it cause any tripping out problems at all?

thanks

electric coolboxes are noisy, they also only cool to 20 degrees below the ambient temperature at best, we use a 3 way fridge - gas, 12v and mains in the awning - it's magic. We also use a portable mains freezer in the awning on breaks over 5 days. We have never had a problem with them triping out.

Hi

We bought a Budweiser one a few months ago & its been a godsend! Shame you live to far away as we are selling ours after buying a larger caravan on a seasonal pitch with a fridge included! Ours is only £35 if anyone interested & its only been used a handful of times!

I hope caravanning is as much fun as camping!
