I went to the carlight open day at the factory near Sleaford the other week. It was a very interesting day. They had their collection of vintage vans on display from the 1930's through to current new ones.
Hi Snowy , the Carlight at outdoor experience is very desirable , it is local to me and after seeing it , I am buying an extra lottery ticket per week so I can have one of the best too !
Hi Alan, we hang out at Kennford in our tourer whenever we get the chance, so we encountered it whilst buying a new micro switch the other day. Very envious that you live in the area, we would love to move down that way.
Super little van though isn't it, I am surprised it didn't fly off the forecourt, ok it isn't cheap but it will last!
Nice to see a thread on this! I'm the salesman at Outdoor Experience so it's good to see people taking an interest. The Carlight certainly has the best wardrobe in a caravan I have ever seen and you've got to admire the detail, even down to the dove tail joints on the drawers!
Must admit I'm not expecting it to fly out of the lot quickly, it's not to everyones taste but I know sooner or later someone who appreciates it for what it is will take it off our hands.

Of course, we are always open to offers ;)
Adrian Outdoor Experience
Well done Adrian - I wish you well. I have the full set of "Carlight" engraved Crystal Glasses to go with it. The previous owner kept the dinner set as a memento.
60%
Mine has the "computerised" (in 1993?) electric self levelling corner steadies - still in working order.
Have you noticed that all the brass screw slots are all either - or ! ( across or up and down) Someone said they must all be too tight or too slack!
Beautifully finished bit of work. I don't think you'll wait too long for a buyer.
Must be a few Carlight owners or enthusiasts on here. Maybe they will share some photos?
You can shout me a coffee next time I am in Adrian if it sells as a result lol. If we didn't have our Sterling I would be snapping it up, it will last for years and years if looked after.
That is the difference Ailuro, it might be a 1993 but it is hand made and made to last. No comparison with today's vans IMHO.
