Hi our caravan came with two awnings a suncamp senic plus and a Dorema Sccrocco full awning.

We only attempted the senic last weekend but seemed okay, a couple of questions though

You can get a groundsheet for the senic about £15 is this going to worth it?

We found a skirt thing and put this on but there was still a gap where the wheel was, there was also 2 small skirts and thought these were for the wheel but couldn't figure out how to fit them as the thread went round the wheel?

Also said you could use one of the doors for a canopy? couldn't figure that either does anyone have a picture of how they do this?

As for the Dorema going to try this out in lakes next week but how long will it take to put up approx? also does this have a groundsheet or do you just use the grass/hardstanding.

There seems to be an awful lot of bags under the beds its a bit worrying as to how complicated its giong to be.

Thanks

We never had a problem putting up the Dorema Sirocco - although we've only done it once as our van is on a seasonal pitch.  We are away until next saturday but I have the instruction leaflet which I would be happy to scan over for you when I get home if you want to let me have your email address.  It only took us about half an hour for the main awning - although the annexe was a bit of a challenge until we realised we had the instructions for that too!  There is no groundsheet but you can use any suitable sized groundsheet.  You will probably find you have the skirt and wheel arch cover in the bags.  If you have several bags, you may be lucky enough to find you have an annexe too.  Ours came in one bag for the main awning and one for the poles .
