Has anyone used CMI (Caravan Mover Installations) in Derby? Im thinking of getting them to fit a mover to my caravan but would like to know of anyones experience with them.

have you thought of fitting it yourself me and a mate have fitted ours was quite easy and saved a few quid aswel

Yes, I have considered it, but some suppliers seem to fit them for ony a few ££ more than a diy fit.

I will give it some more thought. Thanks.

With the supply only price of movers now, I would give it a lot more thought. I fitted mine the day we picked up our new caravan. We went straight from the dealers to Clumber Park CC site and I had it fitted in 3 hours. By the way, I went for the E-Go mover and it's excellent. And just for info, I was 54 at the time with one replacement knee, so you can see it's not that hard.

Thanks everyone. But Ive just found out my caravan has an aluminium chassis so not all movers will fit, and strenghthening plates will be needed. Sounds like I need a professional fit.
