how easy is it to change the mains hook up inlet box, as the flap on mine has broke?

Fairly straightforward like rewiring a 3 pin plug.

I wouldn't bother for a broken flap.

Do you mean the entire door on the inlet/battery box?

Not a difficult job, providing you can get a box either the same size or (if need be) slightly larger. Screwed on the outside and sealed with mastic (so get a pack of the stuff too), plus usually a bracket or support of some description within the van to support the battery.

Alternatively, have you considered checking breakers or fleabay for a replacement door?

If it's just the flap when I broke mine I bought a new box but just pushed the pin out of the hinge and only used the flap saved messing about with the wires and resealing the box etc.
