Depends on your budget. If you are looking at 1990s caravans then unless you go for something with 2 axles then you are going to be ok with most of them. As they get newer, the weights have come up, but as already pointed out, Lunars tend to be the lightest around.

I have a 2.0L TDCI Mondeo and I tow a Lunar Lexon ES. 4 berth fixed bed but still with seperate toilet and shower and a decent sized lounge area. Thats only 1350Kg and tows fine. I too passed my test after 1997.
