got a glimpse of a very cool caravan but have no idea what it was..
It had a curved body, 3 rear windows, what looked like handles under the windows, triangle shaped rear lights next to round one and a row of sky lights on the top..
On the side was written something beginning with S, possibly followed by U, with another 3 or four letters..
It was being towed by british car but poss had NL sticker so maybe from Holland but i just cant find anything on google!
I know its not a lot to go on but has anyone got a clue?!
was it a full size caravan or one of those little teardrop ones?
I've seen a teardrop caravan with 'sleeper' on the side behind a motorbike the other week.
Best guess would be a Cheltenham van, they made three models all with curved side walls and three window front and back.
The smallest was the 11ft Fawn, then 13ft Sable and the 15ft Puka, all are two berth with end kitchens, the Fawns at least being at the front end!
First made in 1956 until 1980, early models would most likely have had 'lantern lights' in the roof, later ones though had massive semi clear fibreglass roof lights, these would make the current 'large' roof lights look tiny!

Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
Oh no, it's none of those !!!!! Thanks so much for suggestions, it's similar to the Cheltenham but the whole thing is curved, rather than just the roof, sort of like a boat is...
Hi snags, That is very similar to one I saw in a garage next to Remnant Kings Fabric factory in Glasgow, didn’t have name or badge on it, as it had just been renovated and prepared for a re-paint.
Must go back and find out if it is finnished yet.
