Just bought a caravan with a ALKO AKS 1300 stabaliser on it and been told a hick lock cost over £100.... does anyone know of other hitch locks that fit that are a bit cheaper.

If you google 'AKS 1300 hitchlock' you will find plenty cheaper. You will also find them secondhand on ebay.

About £70 new but they do come up second hand on eBay quite frequently. They are not known for being a particularly secure lock anyway, you may be better getting a different hitchlock altogether. You will get a second hand hitchlock and hitch for £100 and probably sell the hitch on for £80 quite easily. I recently sold a hitch and hitchlock for £90

Wouldnt you still be able to uncouple the hitch altogether with the SAS lock tho?
