Hi all, this is my first time with a caravan so, as usual, I thought I'd ask another daft question

We've set up on a seasonal pitch, its been there for two weeks. Yesterday we came home and found a news letter from the site, seemed daft to post it when we were at the site anyway! In it its got a form with next years site fees, but even tho we are paid to stay there until closing in January, they want next years fees by the 1st of October, is it normal to pay the following years fees 6 months in advance?

The letter says we can pay in full on the 1st or pay it in 4 instalments, if you opt out for the instalments you pay nearly £200 extra.
