Hi everyone. new here I am normally found in camping under canvas.
I have just bought a 2000 lunar lexon eb. its a nice van but the water is an issue. When I turn the taps on the pump fires up and water comes out but when I turn the tap off the pump stays running
Now if I turn down the pressure switch down to turn off the pump then I don't get any water hardly.
Could the pump be shot as the pressure is rubbish even with the pump on constant or Will the switch be shot?
Would replacing them both fix the prob?
We had the same problem on our last van that used whale watermaster fixture, it turned out that the plastic mesh where the water inlet is, had split and the rubber one way valve was missing so it would not keep pressure and ended up replacing the housing and that sorted it.
with the pump running check outside for leaks where it plugs in.have you closed the drain pipe or tap on the heater,is it sticking open? sounds like the pump is good. possible faulty pressure switch.
