Myself and the better half have been enjoying touring for more than 20 years,l asked my wife "what do you hate about caravaning?" her first respond was the weather,l said to her apart from the weather what else, "packing up to come home" anything else,"yes inconsiderate drivers who pull in front from a side road when they see that we are towing a caravan, and cars bullying in front when the are roadworks on the motorway". My pet hate with caravaning is the ALKO wheel locks we have a twin -axle van and our insurance company(CC) insist that both wheel locks must be fitted, its ok to line one wheel up but have to use a trolley jack to fit other. l'm the same Packing up to come home knowing we have work the next day.
So folks what do you hate about caravaning l'm sure the will be some fasinating replies
------------- You'll Never Walk Alone C'mon you Reds
I'm actually starting to dislike caravanning in general.I couldn't give you one reason, it's just lost it's charm.
------------- "I'm a fool for my dogs"
Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
dogs running loose, people walking dogs on long leads and letting them walk all over your pitch or running in front of you nearly tripping you up -footballs hitting the van when there a football pitch 50 feet away - being pitched under trees, or pitched in the shade - people who dont pitch there caravans right and park there cars on the wrong side so blocking your space off -people chucking frisbees about , rude caravanners who dont acknowledge you when you say good morning -

I;ve said this before but its the first five minutes of Towing, then I relax and could drive forever, John
I agree with you Tony...flaming Alko wheel locks!!! I can no longer use mine, I think I cross threaded it because it wasn't lined up correctly. Most miffed!
Loose dogs.. Always tether my 2 when we are outside, on leads when we walk them and they are always in when we are, but theres always someone on a site who thinks the rules arn't for them whoose dog/dogs just dont need it or so they think..
