Well after much deliberation we've taken the plunge and ordered a 2012 Elddis Magnum 506. Its a 6 berth with triple bunks that our daughter was more than happy with. The bunks are 6ft long ans width wise shes happy with them. She'll also have her own seating area that converts into a generous 6ft single if our son wants to come with us too!
We like the flexibility of being able to fold one of the bunks up and carry her bike in the van. The Magnum is a dealer special with the same spec as the more expensive Avante. One thing we struggled to find is cupboard space to match the gt60s but the Elddis has that too. The heating is underfloor so where the heater usually sits under the wardrobe they have put the fridge which means under the sink theres a couple of brilliant tall cupboards. The front seats are also long enough to use as singles if we cant be bothered to make up the double and much more comfy than the GT60's.
We got more for our van in px than we paid and the dealer is shifting the mover for free. Delivery is end of Feb.
So excited, had to share it with you all. Know we've made the right decision, the Bailey is lovely but for us at the minute the fixed bed just takes up too much space and the front seating isnt long enough.
Think we've been incredibly lucky not to loose out changing the van so soon after buying it.

Topic: just bought a new van
Had a feeling that the 'writing was on the wall' for the fixed bed. I have to say, it's a lovely feeling having a completely new van. I've never waited six months for a van. Don't know how you will manage.
