Hello Folks
I wonder if anyone can help with this i have a water leak between the tank and the heavy cast at the outer end of my water heater. It looks as if some has been in here as the water jacket is in bits.
Can someone tell me how to remove this unit and what is required to reseal it i suspect there is some form of rubber seal between the tank and the casting. How do i remove the tank? On the inboard end there are electrical 240v connections this whole assembly has been removed not by me it appears to have been stuck on using some type of blue hylomar is this all that is needed to put it back?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
