Stealth Caravans have released a limited amount of information about their upcoming 2012 additional Caravan range. Alex Murphy and the Design Team at Dunster House have been working on a project in secret called “Project Concordia”.
These absolutely beautiful caravans have been designed from the ground up by listening to just what caravanners want and like. Taking all of the eye-catching features that have made Stealth Caravans a name associated both with quality and daring design, Stealth have designed a completely new body shell. The ethos of the Overseal Construction method, designed to reduce Potential Leak Points (PLPs) by overlapping the whole front of the caravan with a one piece nosecone has been extended by using once piece GRP sides. This material is considered much more dent resistant than thin aluminium used in most caravans.
Inside, Stealth haven’t let up on the interior quality that has made them so famous. Modern tones compliment the sleek interior. The front seating area is designed to both look and feel like a domestic sofa and the unique centre chest gives all of the benefits of drawers and a pullout table, without impeding leg room. Prepare for a surprise in the bottom drawer!
Stealth Caravans have always liked to have clever touches that make your life easier and make you think – “why don’t all caravans have this?” They started this trend with their shoe cubby holes across their ranges and they have now added to this with intelligent ideas such as: a TV point, a power point fitted on the front window ledge that makes plugging a TV in easier, and a convenient pullout bed frame system for the front sofas.
“We’ve had such an overwhelmingly positive response to our innovative designs over the years and this has encouraged us. We have been so invigorated by all of the positive comments from our customers and the press that we have gone further and come up with even more practical, useful features.” Managing Director Alex Murphy says.
Stealth Caravans come from Dunster House, a large company which generates the buying power and financial security to get the best prices from component suppliers. Prices are being set to match those already in the market and as the Company is both the supplying dealer and the manufacturer, the advertised price is the price you pay. There is no additional PDI fee that you would normally pay on top.
Weight has been on the mind of all of the designers throughout Project Concordia and designers have made smart choices keep the weight down without compromising the strength and design. The finished product will be lighter than anything Stealth has produced before.
‘Concordia’ will sit above the existing ‘Intrepid’ Specification in the Stealth Range and is launching 11th October 2011
The Concordia Range will consist of:
‘Harmony’ Single Axle – 2 berth rear washroom layout – with front seats capable of being used as 6’3” singles or made up in to a super-king sized bed.
‘Tranquility’ Single Axle – 5 berth fixed rear bunk room layout with a solid dividing door and a separate shower in the washroom.

Umm, why the free advertising for Stealth? Or have they paid for it?
Saw the advert for this range in CC mag - look nice but interesting how, after months trumpeting their 'exciting avant-garde' designs, they've reverted to the same old layouts as all other manufacturers

Never been a fan of Stealth - but I have to say that from the photos, they have really got their act together. I like the look of the Tranquility. Would never swap my AK495, but the Tranquility is the first van I have ever seen that would tempt me.
We love ours, it's absolutely gorgeous, always get questions about it wherever we go and since getting it we haven't seen anything since that even comes close. We'll be very interested to peer into the new concordia they've launched, pretty exterior on the new one, even more so than ours but we like our layout so we're not swapping! Though I'm scared these may be last words, don't want herself to get carried away!!! Wish them the best with this, it's a stunning looking caravan!!!
just had a look on the website to find pictures of the hidden cooler, what a great idea, that's where I'd keep my beer, perfect for watching the telly in the evening and relaxing even more, no more strolls to the kitchen (2-3 footsteps saved!!!). it would be good if they made it removeable though, I'm not sure if it is, then you could take it on picnics, though I guess I'd have to empty the beer, a liquid lunch is not my wifes prefferred choice!!!
Is this the same company that would not allow you to view their caravans at the NEC shows? When we went in Feb they had a rope barrier in front of the entrance and were asking if you had a genuine interet in buying before letting you in. Needless to say, we continue to view other more accessible caravans.
