Hi,
We will be buying the Milenco noseweight gauge very shortly for our new van, but the problem is that our drive is very slightly sloping from road towards the garage, with the hitch towards the road.   What can we do to accurately measure the noseweight before we set off? It seems a pain to tow to a flat piece of road... but at the same time, not sure that noseweight is affected very much by road slope?? Do the wheels not act as pivot?

Maybe you could use a block under the noseweight gauge to level your outfit, then try it without for comparison.

Gravity will be the same whatever the slope.

Trouble is the slope goes from road towards garage, so we would need to decrease the gap between hitch and drive (if that makes sense).

So raise the van on ramps/blocks to level it. You only need to do it once to get the offset - if there is one.
