My first posting!! Hope I am doing it correct.

The igniter on the hob in my 1992 lunar clubman has ceased to work.

This and fridge igniter seem to be on same fused circuit. I can get fridge igniter to work but hob blows fuse without sparking at hob.

Lunar can't (won't) help "we do not have any technical staff"

Anyone any ideas for fixing the problem? Can the igniters be bought new ant where?

not had the same problem with  our hob, but the igniter went kaput on our gas fire got a replacement from caravan solutions , www.caravanpartsaccessories.co.uk,

he seems very helpful too with any technical advice, at least he has been with us, his post and packing fees are very fair too.

maybe that your current igniter is shorting out on some metal work on the hob, could be worth checking before parting with any money
