Early summer my husband and I repaired the front end of our lovely little wren, we had to replace all the wood and boards reseal all the windows and rain channels and its looking good. The back end above the sink and cooker at roof height feels very spongy in places, so we are going to try and fix it, it is pretty daunting as we will have to take out the oven and sink, althoughmy husband is good at woodwork he isnt good with electrics or plumbing, are there any repair manuals which might help us, Susan
As long as everything goes back where it came from then it should be fine. It's not really plumbing in a caravan as the hoses are mostly push fit in modern caravans. Even the old ones they will probably only be held with jubilee clips, so there are no pipes to solder.
Hi Susan, As the above posts, also if your husband draws a diagram of any wires and colours of them and where the are attached to the appliances, that will help him replace them in their right positions, he could also put labels on. Only the Fridge will have AC/DC cables to it (AC normally white house hold type cable).
Hope that’s of help, Good luck.
