I am looking at the amara 520/4 and comparing with the odyssey 540 fixed bed.
Any reviews on these vans.
We have had a compass 524 the same layout as the amara.
We down sized a few years ago but need some extra space now.
The difference is the quality and finish. I would recommend the Odyessey....because I have one for just the two of us. Doesn't mean I am right...it all depends on what you want and what you have to spend.

First off, I admit to being biased because we're delighted with ours but have a look at a stealth Q58 or stealth serenity, both have square beds rather than the huge chunk missing of other brands. Of the 2 you've mentioned though the Elddis looks the nicer van and the company have been pushing hard to improve their product so that's where I'd put my money. Bear in mind that both companies have just launched new bodyshells for their top-of-the-range models so these will probably be used on the lower spec versions in a year which may hit your resale value.
