the site we are on is closeing end of oct we leaveing our van there with them until march until the new season. i am a bit worried that we want be able to visit it as its a bit far plus theres hundreds of vans together there in storage.we use to check on it once a month when it was back home the concern is damp etc any ideas on what to do

Damp won't be a problem as long as the caravan ain't leaking. You need to ensure the permanent vents are not obstructed so the air can circulate. Don't leave salt or crystals in the 'van because you are just storing water extracted from the circulating air which is pointless.

Stand cushions on edge if you want & don't leave any bedding or towels in there.
