I often find that lots of people use the site for finding camp sites and reading the site reviews but simply haven't become members and never post on the forum.

I'm often telling people about it and writing the web address down for them

Hi DSB,

A shame about your journey home!
It was very nice meeting you. It was funny actually meeting someone who you've already read a lot about through their posts.
We've only been caravanning for about three years, but most campers I've spoken to do know of this site and often use it for site reviews. I think that posting and the use of the forum areas might be less popular as you need to be a member to do this.
Nevertheless, we enjoy the site and the comments on the different threads.

Regards
Bignose+Jo

It was great to meet you B+Jo.  You may well be right with regards to the forum area.  The trouble with posting on the forum is that it can get very addictive.  You only have to post once and then you're back to see the replies, and so it goes on.. .  Many are on here regularly, in between trips out - it keeps the interest going when you can't get out.  There's a hard winter of posting ahead, although I go a bit quieter in December because of extra practices and concerts leading up to Christmas.

Hope you enjoyed Black Horse Farm - I have a bit of a soft spot for it.  Just wish the CC would install more full service pitches - it doesn't suit everyone, but I'd be up for it.  Hope the kids had a good time too.  Glad your journey back was better than ours.

Take care and keep in touch.

Best wishes
