we have never managed to book a site yet, the ones we want are always full. i only know what i am working 3 weeks before so unless its booked annul leave we cant book beforehand so usually use CL,s that we can book  a few days before we want to go.  I think the 14 days penalty is not enough. Jx

A good move I think.
Hopefully it will stop people from block booking sites and then waiting to see what the weather is like on the day before they decide to go or not.

3 days notice of a cancellation will hopefully allow someone else to fill the booking.

However,I understand that a genuine emergency doesn't always allow you to give 72 hours notice. In those cases I would hope that good manners would dictate contacting the site at the first opportunity to inform them of a no-show.
