Your further comments above, greatly help to clarify your intentions, as the original post seemed to imply (IMO) that you wanted to heat the van while 'stored' on your drive, a practice I don't think is great due to un-necessary condensation.
I can't see your plan being a problem as your using it; as Jeff has mentioned it's akin to using the van anyway I suppose. The van will be naturally 'vented' as you enter and leave during the course of the day, but I'd still consider maintaining a comfortable and relatively low heat.
