Only 2nd year we have owned Caravan and wondering if we need to get a Gas / Electrics service yearly? Our van is on seasonal pitch between March & October....Any advice and likely costs really appreciated. Thanks
If you have a reasonable mechanical understanding then you can check appliances yourself on an ongoing basis, how often do you have the gas/electric checked in your house?
If your caravan don't go on the road I'm sure a mobile caravan service person will do you a 'habitation service' without a chassis service for about £70 if you want. All he will do(should do)is check for gas leaks & that the electrics are working ok. Its not hard to do that yourself.
