The firm I worked in used the twisty Torque Wrenches in many sizes and these were all unwound at the end of each day and reset next morning.
They were also sent for calibration each month.

Most torque wrenches I have used have had the instruction not to use them to loosen wheel nuts as it may damage the calibration,I've seen a lot of people use them for that purpose and then proceed to check the wheel nut torque afterwards.

Exactly as I commented, somewhere in the middle should be fine, treat it well and keep it in the box when not in use and it should serve you well.
