Hi All - its been a while!

family looking to buy a caravan now our folding campers life is coming to an end. We are a family of 4 (kids 7/5) very outdoor active types looking for a caravan for all seasons. Weight not a problem. We have looked at fixed bunks some with end shut off rooms - would like kids to sleep while we were still awake. Would visit south france most summers.

Would be very thank full for any recommendations or past experience. Budget wise ideally around the £8k marks Ish!!

look forward to comments - thanks Justin.

we have the bailey 500/5 and feel sure this would fill your requirements as you have two singles and a bunk bed at the rear plus you can fully close off with a folding door.we love ours.nb.you can have a full size bed and a bunk .see

www.caravanfinder.co.uk

our van gross weight or MTPLM is 1272 kgs so you need to know if this about 85% of your cars kerb weight to be safe on tow.(recommended)

can only speak for bailey myself, all caravans are only as good as your requirements/choice and price bracket.buying from a dealer will give you more protection under the law and a possible warranty transfer for the body and water ingress.there is a slight chance buying private could be damp and cost you a loss of monies.always check with CRIS before you buy to guard against stolen/finance outstanding/damaged repaired.
