We used to keep our van in a storage unit where they had to tow it in & out. They put ours on a pitch once & when we arrived we found the bathroom window scratched. It looked like it may have been the neighbouring van turning too quick & just catching ours. Lucky for us the scratches polished out with Brasso but I was annoyed.
I brought the damage to the managers attention only to be told it was stored there at my risk. I couldn't understand how something could be in their storage & I couldn't tow it in or out could possibly be at my risk so we took it out of there straight baway & haven't been back.
As said earlier, accidents happen & it's be better if those responsible took responsibility for the damage they caused.
