The omnivent fan on our Peggy repeatedly faults.
The fan either wont start, or if it does start, it can stop shortly after starting.
Then 2 alternating flasking red wanring lights flash on it.
My numpty dealer assures me he has replaced it, but the replacement does the same thing. Anyone else have a similar problem or have to push theor fan blades to make it start??
Thanks in anticipation,
Strax

I'm sorry to say that I too have had similar wierd faults on the fan control. It didn't do it of course when it was in for service.
My gut feeling is that its dampness on the control PCB, (it may be condensation) and its feeding spurious info to the control chip, I was going to seal it with something but it has settled again.

Hi i had the same fault, i removed the fan and the motor, you have to drill out the fixings on the motor, found it was rusty were the brushes are and were not springing towards the motor, just cleaned the with WD-40 re fitted it been fine since. I think when the vent it open rain can some how get in to the motor housing.

We had the same problem, just had omnivent fan on our Pegasus replaced during service today, didn't have a chance to test it when I picked it up this afternoon, will have to try it tomorrow.

sounds like the damp air is getting to the motors on these omnivent type fittings and causing bad contacts.------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
