And I'm all poised to book my three weeks at Pembrey in the summer.
Just logged on to the site, and noticed this:
The website will be very busy today as its the first day members can book UK sites for stays in Easter and summer 2012. To ensure the smoothest booking experiance, please login first before making your bookings.
ARRGGHHH!! I know I'm a teacher and therefore pedantic, but you'd think they'd hire website people who could spell!!
The usual farce. Those of us who have to go to work will come home and find the prime sites booked up for every weekend. I can't see why they can't start taking bookings at 7am or have this day on a saturday.
Taking my son to see South Africa next year.................no, not actually South Africa ...it's a Test match, you understand. So, Flask and sandwiches by my side, ready and waiting.....ultimate priority is a site at the start of the school holidays in August. The one we are thinking of is always booked every weekend of the year so feel that we ought to get it booked asap for the test match weekend. Rest of the year will take care of itself after that.....
Phil
------------- If you're not on a fell your wasting your feet and for 2014 it's.......Feb Castleton Mar North Yors Moors; Apr Sutton on Sea; May Thirsk; Jun Clapham/Riverside (Lakes); July Wharfedale; August Crakehall; Sept Knaresborough; Oct Wirral Park/Clitheroe
For the first time i am able to go on-line at 9.00am to book are sites! Thats another advantage to not being able to get a job! Will not have to book sites in main holiday seasons this year either - that'll save quite a bit of money on this years site fees for main season!
I'm logged in and ready to go ... bit scary not done this before!

You must let us know how you get on when you come home from work. Last year I booked all the sites for our trip to Scotland, including Edinburgh, Bunree and Melrose, all very popular sites and I managed to get them all and this was 3 days after the site bookings opened.
Are work places so inflexible now that someone can't take a day off if booking sites is so important to them? The reports last year was that most people got what they wanted on the first day so perhaps we should delay the gloom until we know as a fact that people have been unsuccessful.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
